I really like the internal padding that can be taken out. It does not zip in a hurry but that is how dry bags are too. I trust the product in my Mountain Hardware backpack. It fit in the backpack compartment for laptops and it stays in place while I take out the lab top or put it in. I wish the Velcro was made bigger but it sticks none the less. The top corners were easy to fold over to fit into my back pack. I would like to see what other products this company makes.

Initial take on the bag...
Bought this bag for a 14inch slim acer notebook. I work in the field a lot and need to depend on a bag to keep my notebook dry. Though I have not yet field tested the Aqua-Quest yet, compared to similar products I have used in the past (sealline, sea-to-summit,etc) it seems to be made of a similarly durable construction. The double zip-lock style closure is easy to open and close, and the materiel of the external bag appears quite rugged without too much unneeded weight.I did feel that the internal padded sleeve 'skimps' a little in quality, being basically a dual layer of foam beneath a light quality nylon.

perfect fit
Fortunate I didn't have to find out if it worked as to keeping my 13' Mac Air dry on my recent wilderness canoe trip, however: it fit perfect and I was impressed with it's double closure and foldover flap. Felt confident it would keep my Mac dry if needed.

This little investment saved my ass big-time.
I bought one of these water proof cases for my mac laptop because I live in the Northwest and its always wet out, it seemed practical. Not 4 days after getting it, two beers exploded in my backpack (punctured by the metal part of my clipboard) filling my backpack with beer. Everything is ruined except my $1200 computer is safe and sound. This little investment saved my ass big-time.

I sunk my canoe, actually could have been killed, whats new in my life, theres so many times when I should have been killed on the water. lol and it worked, it saved my lap top. definitely worth the 35 dollars. get it-and Im a picky guy. I wish the sealing method was a zipper like on a dry suit-instead its like a zip lock bag. hard to close and open, but not that hard-get it,, thumbs up
